1930 census at the St. Peter Hospital for the Insane lists as an inmate: Alfred Bacon, age 49, b. MN, parents b. WI\\WI, occupation listed as tailor helper.

Military Note:
Sept. 12, 1918, Alfred Emery Bacon fills out a Selective Service Registration card. He lists his age as 38 and birthdate as October 21, 1880. He lists his permanent address as the St. Peter State Hospital but that has been lined out and replaced by Martin Co., Minn. He lists his nearest relative as Orin Bacon, RFD 1, Truman, Minn. Other sources give his birth year as 1779, given that he was enumerated in the 1880 census in June the 1880 years is incorrect.
