Note
According to a Drake researcher, As of today 11-06-2010, we are unable to find the parents for Francis Marion Drake and his siblings. It has been told to family members that the children were separated after the death of their parents. The federal census of 1850 and 1860 shows this Margaret Drake (born 1803 in Kentucky) as having their charge. We do not know if she is actually their mother or a family member that took care of them. It has been said that there was a brother named Charles that was separated from the other siblings at this time. We continue to search for the answers.
