    • 1865 State census at Warsaw Township, Goodhue, MN shows George Brokman (indexed as George Berkman); Lelista, William, Charles and Fremont Frits. This census gives only gender, no age or birthplace. By 1865 I would expect to find Frances and/or Eliza with the family and given that George is supposedly born this month, a wife. Therefore the person listed as Lelista must be a wife, although it does not fit either of the first names other researchers have provided. Frances appeared in the 1860 census and then never again so perhaps she has died. There is an Eliza Brockman enumerated with another family (D. McNeil) in Lillian, Goodhue, MN.
