  	Max Hamernik Rites Tuesday at Fort Ripley ...Max Hamernik, 77, was an apparent drowning victim Friday night or early Saturday while on a fishing trip on the Nokasippi River. Hamernick had left his home Friday morning to go fishing on the Nokasippi. When he had not returned by 1 a.m. Saturday, his wife called the Crow Wing County Sherrif's Department. His body was recovered about 9 a.m. Saturday about a half-mile from where he had been fishing, near the Crow Wing - Morrison County line in the Fort Ripley area. Crow Wing County Sheriff's officers indicated that Hamernik had been fishing on a river bank in that area, near a sharp incline, and that his fishing pole was found in that location.
