Silver Lake Township, Susquehanna, PA [1] |
- 1850 census at Silver Lake Township, Susquehanna, PA shows: Thomas Maher (indexed as Thos. Maker), 75, farmer, b. IRELAND; Amy, 54, b. IRELAND; Timothy Ryan, 60, farmer, b. IRELAND, pauper; Patrick Maher, 15, b. IRELAND; Winifred, 13, b. PA; Edward, 20, b. PA. The Timothy Ryan listed may be Winnie/Amy's brother.
Note: Enumerated directly after Thomas and Winnie Maher is JXXX Ryan, 40, B. IRELAND, his wife Mary, 36 and 6 children. Also in this family is a Dennis Ryan, age 75, B. IRELAND. Enumerated directly before them is the English (son of Maher) family. Given these three families are all in a row I can't help but think this JXXX Ryan family with elder Dennis is somehow related.
