Data from Martha'a gravestone note that she died in 1858, age 65, which places her birth date about 1793. However, that birth date is not consistent with the birth date of son, Ezekiel, on 2/1/1805. There was a Thomas Cole listed in the Census Records for Jefferson County, Salem Township as age 70 in 1850, and there was no Martha listed. The Thomas listed in the 1850 Census was undoubtedly the sonof Ezekiel and Sarah. Data from Thomas' tombstone note that he died in 1857, age 83, which would place his date of birth about 1774. Thomas and Martha were buried in the Richmond Quaker Cemetery, Salem Township, Jefferson County, Ohio.
