  	Opened the Catherine Hickey Distinctive Millinary Shop in Saginaw. She had several stores in Saginaw and South Bend, Indiana. She said, "Never made a hat in my life. Hired people who knew how." She retired in 1944 and moved to West Branch. Entered the St. Francis Home in 1968 until her death at the age 102.
