Welcome!

Once again I've spent way too much time on this!

Including an all new look to the home page and lots of internal stuff. The biggest change is the ability to log in, for immediate family this will allow you to see more stuff, including yourself.

As a family member you will also have the ability to submit additions for inclusion on the web site. Across the top of each person's page are tabs, choosing the worksheet tab will bring up a Family Group Sheet (FGS) pre-populated with all current data. On the FGS you will be able to add children, parents, dates, whatever. While I am hoping to get lots of new information on ancesters I also hope you will keep me updated with those in the present! Oddly enough the hardest part of genealogy is keeping up with current, living people.

Email me for a logon and password.

Check out some of the fun stuff in the left hand box. Statistics show the 2nd longest lived ancester is one Effie Captola Hastings who lived almost 108 years. She was the wife of Allen Roy (Bill) Cole and I'm pretty sure my mother and her siblings knew her. Dates and Anniversaries lists all known life events - who shares your birthday? Videos is a work in progress with a non-genealogical video to look at, still trying to figure out how to make it play. Histories will show the first 40 pages of a work I did for my mother and her siblings with some famous and some infamous folks mentioned.

On the right hand side, the Quick Links box allows family members to navigate to their section immediately. The Links box contains links to my non-genealogy web site and the Marble Orchard - a photo essay of some of my favorite headstones. Other Families is a list of work done for non-family members.
